The Asian Cultural Council (ACC) is the only organization in the world whose sole mission is to support cultural exchange between the United States and Asia and within the countries of Asia.
Our unique program model focuses on individual travel for artists and scholars, and our support provides more than financial assistance alone: the ACC tailors each fellowship to support the goals of each individual recipient, identifying and involving the institutions that can best meet their needs, introducing them to key colleagues in their fields, arranging their housing and transportation abroad, and helping them to discover the possibilities of their work experienced in a different cultural landscape.
The ACC has supported nearly 6,000 grantees since our founding in 1963, and each of them has had a hand in building and continuing to enrich the ACC’s unique network – a dynamic platform that provides limitless opportunities for discussion, collaboration, and growth.
